About Colordle
Colordle challenges you to name a color. A large color swatch is displayed and you guess the color name with Wordle-style letter feedback. Ten colors are in rotation: RED, BLUE, GREEN, BLACK, WHITE, BROWN, YELLOW, PURPLE, ORANGE, and PINK.
How to Play
Guess the color name in six tries.
- A color swatch is shown at the top of the screen.
- Tap a color name chip or type the name to submit.
- Letter feedback works like Wordle: green, yellow, and gray tiles.
- Grid width adjusts to the length of the target color name.

Tips & Tricks
- Look at the swatch carefully — distinguish BROWN from ORANGE and PURPLE from BLUE.
- Shorter names like RED (3 letters) and BLUE (4) have smaller grids — fewer guesses needed if you recognize the color.
- Use yellow tiles to place shared letters: PURPLE and BLUE both contain U and E.
- If the swatch looks very dark, guess BLACK before BROWN.
- WHITE has a visible border so you can tell it apart from empty tiles.
